GHS students, be prepared to dig through your long lost costume boxes and winter wardrobe because Spirit Week begins December 7. Each day will have its own winter theme, and all students are encouraged to participate. Monday is scarf and boot day and winter hats are also allowed.  On Tuesday students can show off their most hideous grandma-knitted disasters on ugly sweater day. Wednesday GHS will have its own “Snow Day” with the theme White Out where all students wear white. Thursday is Gilbert Tiger Pride day when students should don their Black and Gold. Lastly, Spirit Week will end on Friday with a Batman Dark Night day, coordinating with the Winter Formal dance on December 12. Students can dress up as any Batman character from either the blockbuster film The Dark Knight, or the original Batman comic books.
